1. What is PlayFoot?

PlayFoot is a free, ad-free platform that helps groups of friends and recreational players organise football and futsal matches. It lets you create groups, schedule matches, manage player lists, invite guests, and track results — all in one place.

PlayFoot is a personal project offered free of charge with no advertising and no premium tiers. There is no payment processing of any kind on the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to enter into these Terms.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your sign-in codes with others.
• Each person may hold only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent any restriction is not allowed.
• You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Deletion is permanent and removes your personal data from our systems within 30 days.

4. Acceptable Use — What You Can Do

• Create and manage groups for recreational football and futsal matches.
• Schedule matches, set locations and kick-off times, define team sizes and bench spots.
• Join or leave matches, and bring a guest player on behalf of a group member.
• Close matches and record results for your group's history.
• Update your profile name and avatar.
• Access the platform from any modern web browser.

5. Prohibited Use — What You Cannot Do

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Harassment or abuse: using PlayFoot to harass, threaten, or intimidate other users.
• Impersonation: creating an account under another person's name or identity without their consent.
• Automated access: scraping, crawling, or programmatically accessing PlayFoot data without prior written permission.
• Reverse engineering: attempting to decompile, disassemble, or extract source code from the platform.
• Security attacks: probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of any part of the system, or attempting unauthorised access to any account or server.
• Commercial use: using PlayFoot or its data for commercial, advertising, or resale purposes without written consent.
• Illegal activity: using the platform to facilitate any activity that violates applicable law.
• Spam: sending unsolicited messages or creating fake groups or matches.

6. Content You Submit

You retain ownership of any content you submit (profile name, match details, comments). By using PlayFoot, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

You are responsible for ensuring the content you submit does not infringe any third-party rights or violate any applicable law.

7. Availability and Changes

PlayFoot is provided on a best-effort basis. We make no guarantee of uptime, availability, or data persistence. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of PlayFoot after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

PlayFoot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the platform, including but not limited to lost data, missed matches, or errors in scheduling.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to other users or the platform. Where possible, we will notify you before taking action.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Spain.
